Bigfork Mountain View

Bigfork is a popular vacation destination but isn’t a typical resort town by any means. Bigfork is a great place to relax and really get away from it all while still enjoying the comforts of home. All kinds of outdoors activities are popular here including hiking, skiing and kayaking. A number of people return to Bigfork each year to stay in its hotels, but owning a vacation home here is far more common. Many people have fallen in love with Bigfork and bought homes here to enjoy the town’s natural beauty for years to come. Most homes in Bigfork are top-of-the-line and offer all of the luxuries; no expense is spared in creating beautiful homes that complement Bigfork’s resplendent natural beauty. Most homes in Bigfork offer fantastic views, either of Flathead Lake, the mountains or simply the beautiful woods – and sometimes a combination of all three. Home prices are determined not only by the home’s quality but also by the view from the home. In fact, a home’s view is perhaps the most important factor in determining its price. Because Bigfork includes numerous beautiful mountain vistas, Bigfork mountain views are abundant and sometimes less expensive than lake views. However, nearly all property is somewhat expensive in this exclusive mountain town. Expect to pay a high price for property that includes any kind of a view.

How Much Does a Mountain View Cost?

Bigfork includes a large amount of luxurious homes that are extremely expensive. However, less expensive homes are available as well – sometimes even with beautiful mountain views. Higher-end mountain view homes sell usually around $1 million, but if you sacrifice some of the luxuries, you will find a variety of homes with beautiful mountain views for under $300,000. Homes in this price range are usually smaller, with two to three bedrooms, and more basic, perhaps built out of artificial wood siding rather than stone or wood. However, less expensive homes are great for vacations where you can enjoy the splendor of Bigfork’s mountain ranges.

Bigfork’s most expensive homes, however, are exquisitely made out of the finest materials and offer stunning views. These homes may cost well over $5 million, although most cost less than $1 million. The most expensive mountain view homes often have over-the-top luxury features that raise their price. A beautiful, luxurious home will generally cost between $700,000 and $1 million.

Types of Views Available:

Different kinds of mountain views are available, and the quality of a home’s view plays a part in determining its value. The least expensive views are partial views, or “peek-a-boo” views. These are indirect views; you will be able to see a slice of the mountains from a certain part of your property. The next option is a full mountain view where you have a larger, more complete view of the mountains from your property. These may be close-up views, where you are located close to a mountain and see a breathtaking view out your window. The most expensive type of mountain view is the panoramic view, where you see mountains in every direction from your property. Any kind of mountain view in Bigfork will raise your property value and make your home more beautiful.
